The “Holy Qur’an”, as the miracle of the seal of the Prophets, is the only undistorted holy Book. “monotheism” is the most central religious principle of this Book. Therefore, the purity of monotheism affects all aspects of the religion; however, some false information has entered the hadiths of the infallible, among which Israʼiliyyat is the most famous ones. This study, done through library research method and content analysis, attempts to answer the following question: what is the status of the narrative “It was narrated: “Ibrahim did not tell more than three lies, two about God, he said: "I'm a good person", he said, “No, it was this biggest one of them who did it!” and “And his saying about Sarah: “She is my sister.”” Under the Ayat “and said, “Indeed I am sick!”” in term of authenticity and reliability? Regarding Ibrahim’s reasoning with polytheists about Unity of acts (tawhid al-af'ali) expressed in the Ayat 89, Surah Safat, a narration was cited from Abu Hurayra. The present study examines this narration in terms of its content and the chain of transmission. The analysis showed that the narration is weak in terms of the chain of transmission since Abu Hurayra, a famous figure in the narration of Israʼiliyyat, is in its the chain of transmission. Even though Abu Hurayra is famous for being just among the Sunnies. Moreover, in this narration, Ibrahim is charged with three lies, which is not compatible with the principle of infallibility of prophets.
